Merkava MkIII (real world alert!)

Here's the 1/72 Revell Merkava MkIII, pretty much OOB.  I did use some sheet styrene to close some huge holes in the bottom of the lower hull, and used a wood putty filler to give the  finished model a little better heft.  It's probably going to get another wash, to knock down those bright white markings.

I've always liked the Merkava, and the newer 72 scale armor kits are just so darn cute!

Maybe this is a whiff after all.  If you check the second pic, you'll see an accidental road wheel transposition. . .

Lookin' good! I've got a couple of these I haven't built yet but it looks to be a nice little kit. Well OK I built the turret on one for my hovertank but I wasn't counting that one  ;D

Actually thought that was 1/35 until i read your introduction. Great wash, excellent work with the decal over all those rivets. :bow:
