My Missus does the bills & keeps a regular check on the accounts, so I find that paying cash at your LMS is a good way of avoiding scrutiny.  I still get asked why I took £50 out that day after already taking out £20 earlier, but I manage to blame it on petrol/groceries/whatever.  I still think she pretty much guesses what's happening.

I do tend to get sneaky when getting models into the house, God knows why because I usually end up owning up to it!  She mutters, but the general thing is if it keeps me happy, it's okay.  Sort of.  It didn't go down to well when I wasn't really building anything although that's sorted itself out, and as long as I don't buy stuff when we're on the bones of our arses.....

The main way I sneak things in is to put in the boot of the car, wait until she's in the shower & then take it into the garage.  I've sneaked them in with other items too, then whipped them away when I get the chance.  To be honest, like I said before, I just end up owning up because I don't like being so sneaky!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Since I keep on getting more and more review kits, I can usually just carry the whole kit and kaboodle in at once...

Sounds like sneaking kits in is half the fun, wish I had to  >:(

Well I have used the "many kits in one box" trick in the past as well as pointing at the shoes in wardrobe but another good one was to have a look around for a women's clothes shop having a sale and when you got home with the new purchase "causually" point out you'd seen a dress on sale that you were sure would suit the other half. They'd be so taken aback you could get away with it

PS - I'm divorced now !
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I do hope this thread gets locked so that wives/ partners/etc do not get to read it, otherwise I will have to find other ways of getting goods into the house. Now let me think......
