scrapheap challenge doesnt compare to this one... illegally flown for years in northern Finland in all weathers by 2 brothers and now displayed in the Finnish Air Force Museum ...

i think it was a case of (ill double check tho and amend as appropriate!) not certified, not licensed, no flying licence for the pilots, made outv non aero structural materials (i dont think scaffold tube is usually used for wing spars or crates to make skis!?) i noted down the label text, ill dig it out and post it up too

...is it just me or is there something vaguely 'Flight of the Phoenix' about it too???
