hey to all , i have been away from modeling for the last couple of weeks , and from what iff my last was the sea javelin . i was looking back at said javelin the other day and thought to myself "how could i go one beter and keep withing the modern british aircraft scene?" my attention was drawn to the model stash and a scimitar caught my eye , now if you remember the scimitars last commision was to be a refuling aircraft so i had the idea a modern refuling aircrat for what was until the harrier went the fixed wing modern royal navy. i then thought to myself what the hell could i use for this idea and then it came to me

Sepcat Jaguar T-2 refuling aircraft of the modern Fleet Air Arm to fly alongside the wings and rotorblades of the harriers and sea king/ merlins

the reason for the t-2 version is a larger aircraft over all and a rear seat to control all fuel controls

let me know what you guys think i would value your opinion

Hey Steve,

An interesting concept.  I guess the only concern with using a Jag is its timeframe and how long you'd keep it in service.  That said, a single sticker is possible as a buddy tanker as E model Super Bugs are now flying in the config quite routinely.

Well, considering that a refueling package that fit in the linear weapons bay was developed and proven on the A3J/A-5 family, i've got the bits set aside back home to do a KA-5C "fast Texaco" for the USN (or others) as well as the bits to do an EA-5D for either the USN or USAF.
