Conversely, do up a Tornado in the old RAF night bomber scheme, green and brown over black.

We saw exactly that at the Cosford show in the spring..... I remember pointing it out to NARSES2 & Thorvic (or did they point it out to me ?.....)

Still if I were you.... I'd build it anyway !

I just read some news of French forces in Afghanistan, and it appears that French Air Force and Navy clearly joined the Group Build!  ;D
Indead, afer the choice of the Armée de l'Air to paint its Rafale in grey (instead of a blue-green camo), the Marine Nationale just changes the paint of its Super Etendard, from a two tone blue grey/grey into an overall medium grey.

And some friends of mine that work in the Armée de l'AIr told me that there are good chance that in the next few years all French combat aircrafts (except the Mirage 2000-5 or D maybe) will be painted in overall light or medium grey (including the Mirage 2000C that always had their beautiful light blue scheme).
The reason is... it's cheaper to have a single type of paint!  :banghead: :banghead:

But well, that could be cool too. There already was a single Mirage 2000-5 painted in low-viz, with everything, from the two-tone camo to the roundels, painted in different greys. I had pictures of this in my external HDD, but it sadly died few weeks ago, while I was in Africa.
If I could find those pictures again, I'll post them here.

Would this be a good time to introduce the Wright Flyer in full lo-viz Tiger Meet markings?     :drink: :drink: :drink:
,
Daryl J., who may build this actually even though it'll not be in time for the GB due to The Lifechanging Move

I've been saving my one set of low-viz maple leafs for this.

I want to join this GB,  i started a project that would be perfect for it about 3 days before it officially kicked off. I know sometimes we have GBs that must not have a certain percentage done, and other times its anything goes in terms of completion. I joined the wings and fuselage of a Revell Tomcat, doesn't have a cockpit because the canopy is going to be blacked out. Is it still ok to enter? I know it's not a big deal and i could just take pics and say i did them yesterday or something but i believe in being honest, and didn't see anything mentioning it in the GB rules.
