Superb model and idea.  Here is an OH ANG F-112 Jaguar as well as an F-65 Tigercat;  same idea.  The Guard has always been somewhat independent, the idea of the Guard purchasing aircraft on its own has always been a favorite of mine.  Apparently they came close to buying F-14s for the Air Defense role in the early '80s.

Wow....way to resurrect a thread Nev!  This one is still one of my faves...it still sits on the bedroom bookshelf.

This one is much older than the Vietnam F-99 so i'm not surprised i hadn't seen it but now i'm glad i did. :thumbsup:

This Hunter is one of the first models I ever posted on here.   Love your artwork.
