Apologies if this is old news...

Model Zone currently have the RoG 1/32nd scale He.162 Salamander on sale at just £5.00  :o :o :o (discounted from £20...) I don't care (or know) if the kit's flawed or not: that's a lot of model for the money. If it was a plane I liked in a scale I build, then I'd have had their hand off upto the elbow....

Don't know if this applies to all branches, but the MZ in the Trafford Centre have a couple of Polar Lights Batplanes discounted from £20 to £10. These are NOT the one from the modern movie: they're a fit-the-box scale 1950s-style jet fighter (bit Supermarine 545ish) with bat-shaped wings and tail, presumably originally issued by Aurora to go with the 1960s TV show. Holy bargains Batman! That's cheaper cheese than Netto's chill cabinet!

There's also a RoG P-47D in 1/48th for £7 or £8, dicounted from about £20, I think, some Tamiya Huckbeins (sp?) whose price tags were too scary to look closely at, even discounted,  and a bunch of other stuff too.

If the postage is cheap enough for it to be worthwhile, I'll get one and send it to you, if you like. I'll see what I can find out......

What was the retail price at your LHS?
