Looking at the pics from Glascow and Dallas I am a lot jealous.  There were 5 entries in Hypothetical Aircraft category, most of which I showed from the SLC-08 contest.

In fact, the models in all categories were very light (and this was a Regional) with only about 300 models on the tables.  There was some very nice work, just not enough.  I did the Vendors thing trying to get rid of a bunch of old magazines (and a couple  kits).  The Vendors area was one of the high points (along with the Make n Take) with many bargains to be had from people mainly thinning their stash.

To top it off, my camera seemed to have a hard time getting good pics (although they looked good as I took them).
I may link a few to this later but for now, you can see them here.

Not much wrong with those pics, just need better lighting. Loved seeing that Tradewind, I've got two of those on the go right now and three more in the stash - all planned for!

That green Games Workshop dragon takes me back: I've still got one of those sitting in a box with it's elaborately lacquered celophane wings irrepairably smashed to bits, courtesy of mother-dear-mother: "well it doesn't matter dear, it's only a bit of old metal and it'd only have got dusty....."  >:(
