Carlos, the Typhoon/Tornado was basically an enlarge Hurricane, in every way.  If you look at pictures of the prototypes of those two aircraft you can see where the heritage comes from.  I don't think the bigger (and thicker) wing would actually benefit you because really, the only thing that made a Typhoon go fast was the brute power from the engine used.  At low altitude is was very fast (for it's time) but above 20,000 feet the performance dropped off rapidly, hence the Tempest to solve that problem.

Bumped because of its simple thread title.

Who does a decent late Mk 1 metal winged Hurricane in 1/72 scale please? I've got the older Airfix IIC from the Airfix Club IID release but it has the four cannon wings and I want some with the odd shaped gun access panels for the eight Brownings.

The Leng Plateau is lovely this time of year

The Wooksta!

The old Airfix mk I is still the best.

Revell?  The mk IIb is too short and the wing chord is out, plus the prop is horrid.

Would it not be quicker, Sir, to list what is not in your loft?

Hehehe, actually no.  ;D

While we're vainly trying to produce some sort of order out of the chaos that is this house, the very Rubik's Cube nature of the place meant I had to move a fair proportion of The Loft's contents to a lower level. As this now occupies three (maybe four...) different rooms in the normal house I haven't a CLUE where anything is!

I am only too well aware of your situation, Kit. I recently have moved from a large 3 bed house (with garage) to a large-ish 3 bed flat WITHOUT garage.   Do you remember those sliding tile plastic puzzles that were so popular in the 1950s and 60s?  Well, I think that we both have the same problem.  It's a case of can't move this until that and the other have been relocated.  I've not the foggiest notion of which box contains  my stash, and which ones belong to my younger son.   All I can say for certain is "Get your hands off that Bucc kit, young sir!!.......and the Wellesley is mine too!!"

Captain Canada

LOL good one. I don't think it's a case of big house or small flat....it's just chaos in general in the scatter-brained world of the whiffer !

And thanks for the tips Lee.
