I read this morning at HYPERSCALE that Freightdog had acquired the assets of Pegasus/Blue Max models. First,
my congratulations to Freightdog, and my best wishes for continuing success with the lines.

Next, and a bit more selfishly, Pegasus announced some time ago a frothcoming Mansyu Ki-98, a late war
Japanese twin boom pusher. Any chance we'll see that kit on the shelves in the years ahead?

Thanks Doc, I was tempted to post in 'my stash just grew again' that I had over five thousand Pegasus kits, but thought better of it!
I'll ask Chris Gannon how far he progressed with the Ki-98, I don't think any masters where started (the next Pegasus kit he had planned was a reworked MB5) but if he has the research done who knows. I'm just trying to take stock of what I've got, as well as the the injected stock, about 30 different types, I have all the Pegass masters back to 1982, so quite a lot to take in. Its likely that the first 'new' Pegasus kits will be done in resin, until I can fund another injection kit, and I hope to remaster some of the older Pegasus kits and reproduce in resin and pewter also.

The Spiteful would be a good one to do, although both times Pegasus did it, he cocked up the tail surfaces (too small).  The BP Balliol too, as there's no kit available of this type at all, although the shape of the engine is supposedly wrong.
Another one wrong as released but still correct (if that makes sense!) is the Miles Master.  It's supposedly the trainer but is actually one of the few aircraft that were modified as "panic fighters" during the anti-invasion panic in 1940 - he'd used the wrong reference photos.  If that were released with the correct decals, it could be a good whif.

The Spiteful gets my vote (for what it's worth).  Had a Balliol once (never built it) - the real drawback for was the complete void that was the cockpit (don't know about the nose contours)!  The Master was, as Wooksta says - one of the 'panic fighter' versions (again, another one never built and sold on).
Was it true that Chris Gannon was contemplating a 1/72 MB5?

Good luck with the Pegasus-related efforts.    ;D ;D

You have all the masters?  Including his original two-seat Harrier conversion?  A cleaned up version of that would be nice for doing 1st generation Harrier trainers.
