In the famous line...  A friend donated this F-19 1/48 Testors that was partially completed.

Well I decided to do an homage to the great lozenge pattern camouflage of WWI and give
some current German markings to the F-19.

Hope you enjoy the results

G'day Manuel,

Welcome aboard.  The scheme looks brilliant.  Makes the F-19 look even more 'organic' & alien than it already does.

Clever idea.  How did you do the finish?

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

The finish is done using actually some very cheap paints that I got at Michaels.  I mixed the colors until I had what I wanted and using a cotton swab (q-tip) I dabbed the paint in concentric circles to get that mottled effect.  Once dry a couple of coats of future, decals and a final cote of future to seal the decals in.

I am the doner of the F-19, and MCollazo did his usual fantastic job!!   I agree with using Michaels paints; you can get almost any color for 50 cents, and one container holds a great deal of paint.  What a deal.
