I'm keen on the Su-80 type but have no clue how you'd model such a thing.

Perhaps using a 1/48 OV-10, coupled with a 1/72 Dash-8?

I do like that flying boat idea! Another option would be to go retractable float amphibian like the Dash 8 proposal by Adelaide-based Tigerfish Aviation Pty.

About the DHC-7 model, there's always the British Classic Airliners 1/48 DHC-7. It's only £295.00 so no worries about cutting it up for a whif
