Some of the old old loggers in W. Montana rue the day of modern machinery as they made more money logging with horse teams, spared the forest considerable damage, and were able to selectively log in a way that they could never, ever keep up with the forest's natural renewal cycles.    Using that concept, mix in the idea of heavy lift choppers, and Skiff it:   Antigravity work devices that take out only select logs to Boise Cascade, Weyerhauser, Plum Creek or the like.    GPS guided of course so they are unpiloted.      There's already a supply of 2" fishing bobbers in The Stash to serve as a base.
