Hi folks (especially anyone in Melbourne or Australia),

Any one going to be in town around the Avalon air Show (http://www.airshow.net.au/avalon2009/index.html)?  I have to be there for work and thought it might be a chance to catch up with some people.

PM me if you'd like.

Regards,

Greg

Well I spent 4 days there and was lucky to have seen less than 5mins worth of flying!  Didn't even have time to see what was on display - hopefully some of the other members who attend will have time to take pics.

Hi Greg, I missed this post! I was there Tuesday and Wednesday. Managed to take a couple of hundred photos. Mainly detail shots for a few builds I am doing.

Here are a couple from the day, link to album....

It looks like you had half the USAF down there for the show!  :o

Presumably that was a mock-up F-35, was it?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Doh!  If I had known, we might have tried to meet up (I was there Tuesday - Thursday). :banghead:  Mind you - you may have seen me but not known! ;D

Thanks for the pics - I wonder what the Navy lass on the M1A1 was up to???.

G'day Gang,

The majority of my camera time was video which accounts for the lack of numbers, but here's a series from the day.

and finally, something from the Exposition Pavillion.

The RCL arty hanging off the helo looked particularly like something one of us would have done!
