Seems like Flex is just a teeny bit biased to the Soviet side of things...
I do like ForktailDevils description of a 'what-if' Gulf War 1991 attack :) .

But I like the Swiss P.16 Project mentioned further down the page, never heard of that one before. The link is all in German but there's some nice pics. Wonder why they're dragging one out of a lake?

Yeah, that's the first time I've heard of the P.16 too ! Neato !

Yeah, it's a sweet plane.  They made the Learjet out of it, they used the wings, U/C from the P.16 onto the first Lear.  Evan will tell us everything there is to know about that if we ask him!

Only the pertinent bits, I certainly don't want to put you folk to sleep.  The wings, undercarriage, and horizontal tail are carried over, though the tail was redesigned when they switched to a T-tail.   All Learjets but the "40-series" have wings based on that wing.  It has to be one of the few civil aircraft with a military-style multi-spar wing, up to 10 in some areas.  On the other hand, there are some pilots who are rather glad it is that rugged.
