I started Hasegawa's newish 1/48 Draken kit a couple months ago intent on building it in Finnish markings. As I was assembling the outer wings, it occurred to me that this would look pretty good with its wings folded, in US Navy markings. So here we are. Started adding detail to the wingfolds this afternoon.

How did the country lose its way...when did we stop rooting for the man with a flame-thrower or an acid-spraying gun of some kind?
