Well, I do intend to build one of the Triumvirate class, but it will be an inter-stellar battle cruiser belonging to the Praetorian Guard Astral Corps ;)

Could be worse, could be a leather gladiators costume.....
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Beauty of a story and ,once again , a superb build. Any plans on doing an Aztec?

Thanks.  No, no plans for any Aztec stuff.  Like I said, I do want to do a Praetorian spaceship (already got half a plan for it in my mind).

I've also got a 1/72 Stryker that will be Romanised (several options - change from wheels to tracks, add a turret Centauro style, skids instead of wheels for a Lunar Landing Vehicle)

And if Trumpeter or anyone else ever release a 1/72 Centuaro then the Praetorian Guard will definately be getting several ;)

For some reason, I imagine the Aztec's flying P-39 Airacobras or even P-63 Kingcobras - don't ask me why, they just popped into my head.

Great stuff.
The "Roman Roundels" are an easy fix, easily obtainable and with a basis in history....as Nev and Narses have pointed out.
On my aircraft, the stencilling is frequently dependant on the origin of the unit involved....ie Germanic for a Hun unit, British for one from Britannia, Spanish for one from Hispaniola, etc..

I have built some Roman armour....a BMP-2 troop carrier, operated by Hun mercenaries under the command of a Roman officer for certain.

Ah well. I do have an idea of my own that might fit into your universe, though it would be many years earlier, historically, but I haven't even purchased the model, and will need to do some research and scratch-building to do it.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.
