Saw this ad on TV today and it just brought back so many memories of the 80s!

Too right! :)

I can remember hanging around Gatwick for a delayed Northwest Orient (as it was then) flight to Minneapolis. As usual I went up to the Viewing Gallery and just got there as a rush of people headed for the barrier. Virgin Atlantic's first 747 ('Scarlet Lady'?) was turning into the ramp area and the sound of shutters clicking was almost deafening! :)

[Later] No, G-VIRG was 'Maiden Voyager', an ex-Aerolineas Argentinas 747-100 leased to Virgin]
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Yeah, already seen it twice on the box!! Pretty good.  You might fly virign, but you won't be flying with virgins....
If you love, love without reservation; If you fight, fight without fear - THAT is the way of the warrior

If you go into battle knowing you will die, then you will live. If you go into battle hoping to live, then you will die
