I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Ah, I think 12.  Yeah, 12.  Which is higher than usual, but I didn't take on any real huge builds this year.  That makes a big difference.  I didn't have a single one take all year to finish, which is a first.

well, out of the numerous kits I have started and finished, I can't say that they are really finished as they can all get an upgrade or a new weapons fit or paint job if the need arises. Also I have been trying to locate enough decals for a large amount of my aircraft.

I think I only finished two, a Babylon 5 Shadow Ship and an Eagle Landing Pad from Space 1999. Both were done for a friend.

Love the Shadow Ship.  Got to agree with Duncans comments, the Missus isn't a spider lover & if I showed her that model she'd either scream & run or pound it into powder!  Mind you, that models about how big she reckons the little money spiders are that I have to let out of the house.....
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I finished 37 modles in 2008, getting my Lychee completed in late December.

I've been spending the last two weeks wrestling with a Monogram box-scale Constellation. It's not giving up easy!

Now, define "finished" in this context...

Wow, only five finished models in 2008.  Puts it in perspective.  I'd like to double that in 2009 but, with two (scheduled) turnarounds in our plant this year, that would seem unlikely.

Well, 8 of you need to hang your head in shame ;)

But 14 of us (a whopping 25%) deserve credit for going to double figures and beyond.

I was going to say that at the end of the day, building kits is what its all about, but its also all about fun :)
