Hmmm - having bought a Revell 1/144th Concorde, re-read Soviet Secret Projects - Bombers, and having a Concorde fan at hand to mortally offend, I may just have an entry for this one after all.......

I'd like to join in this one when you sort dates out... can I submit a flying submarine (LPL 1950s Soviet Wif)?
'...please, tell me where to put it..?'

'do nothing except that which is necessary or beautiful' (Marcus Aurelius)..well I've got the 'do nothing' bit sorted...

Yes Greg "something like that"......

That model shot's good, and so Russian  - know why? Because a desktop model for an American aircraft executive based in California would be made from ecologically forested pine and treated with a non-toxic varnish. The Russian one though, is an ashtray........ ;D

... and as recently as thirty years ago the model for the California based American executive could also be an ashtray.
