Hello guys, not long to go is!? A brief update for you, as mentioned elsewhere the Supermarine 'twin' project won't be on sale at SMW, but I spoke to Paul Lucas yesterday and he's putting the finishing touches in the cockpit so I do hope to have an example on show. We plan on a white metal undercarriage, and unlike earlier kits the canopy is likely to be vacform. This is because of the terrible wastage on clear resin, whilst I have been testing some aluminium impregnated resin female moulds on my vacform machine today. We are not at Falcon quality yet, but not far off, and that's were we are heading!

Some of you mentioned an interest in getting the Red Dean missiles in the P.12 conversion separately, I'll have around a dozen sets at SMW on there own, don't know price but probably around £3 a pair.

Lastly, about two months ago I approached Anigrand to recover the masters for the P.177 and P.1154 and get them sent to me. The P.1154 has been unavailable for a while and not too many people have been asking after it, I feel this is down to its cost. So a bit of good news for those who still want one. The kits where produced in batches of 30, it seems when I last restocked Arnold at Anigrand made an extra batch without me knowing, and has offered them to me at a lower price, if all things go OK I plan on passing this full discount onto customers and hope to knock £10 off the retail price of the last batch and offer them at £30.00 each. Once they are gone that's it for the P.1154 for the time being, the masters will be reworked for a two seat trainer boxing early next year, eventually the single seater will reappear but not in the near future. These last Anigrand ones should be on sale at SMW.

So there you have it. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces in a few weeks time.

A brief update, P.1154's arrived safely, price has been fixed at £30. After pre-orders I have about 9 left for the show (I will have more after that, these ones come with clear canopies by Alley cat and I only have 14 to bring to the show). Amazingly, these are the best batch I've had from Anigrand, of the 28 shipped none were rejects (except two with cracked fuselages, which will be used as T.1154 sub-masters).

The 'Super Spitfire' isn't going to be on display unfortunately, Paul has not got far enough, and needs to focus now on casting for the show.

Can honestly say I don't enjoy this week, printing instructions and packing etc, made more difficult because I've decided to drop the 'Silver Cloud' brand, and market all the project stuff under Freightdog (if you look at my facebook page you will know what the 'Freightdog' looks like - no, its not a picture of me, but my new cartoon dog logo!)

See you at the weekend...
Colin
