.... decals with UK flag? I mean the Union Jack, not the roundel.

And flags from other countries?

Thanks

They're relatively easy to print off in any size you like with an ink-jet or laser printer.

There's isn't an issue with being unable to print white as the whole flag can be printed on white decal paper and then it's a matter of four straight cuts around the edges and you're done.

If you look at some Wargames companies they produce Battle Standards which will include some national flags. A lot of countries either don't exist anymore or have changed their flags but some are still usefull.

Chris

Just realised that if you want these for your "Tercio's" build then wargames flags will be ideal because you can get them for the 16th/17th Century Spanish armies
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Mossie

One source is naval decals, you can get a variety of sizes.  They tend to be naval jacks, so not necessarily national flags, although the Union Flag is easy, you just cut it out of the ensigns.  Some of them are waved too, so may or may not be useful.  Another thing that might be useful if you want's to make your own flags is the signal pennants, there's all sorts of colours and styles available.

White Ensign has a good selection:
https://www.whiteensignmodels.com/c/Decals/84/1/

If you need smaller flags, quite a lot of aircraft models have these, especially if they use the national flags as a fin flash, might be worth a look through the model boxes and decals stash.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Depends how mig you want it. This outfit:

http://www.modelflags.com/index.html

do vinyl transfers which I think include flags (work internet won't let me onto the site  :banghead:), but they're sticky vinyl rather than waterslide, so they mightbe a bit thick for very small models.

Off topic, but they also do brilliant little cloth flags to put on flagpoles, masts etc...

I am thinking in covering tail fin of a Hunter, with that decal

About 20 mm x 30 mm

Modeldecal did some Hawk decals one of which had the union jack on the fin. It strikes me that the Hawk fin is very Hunterish  ;D perhaps that would do? http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/MD093 should show it.

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

Are you doing something similar to G-FFOX?

G-FFOX by pyro-manic, on Flickr

Should actually be fairly simple to mask., especially if you're doing a straight-line version rather than a curvy one.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Instead of aircraft decals, think temporary tattoos....  http://www.partytattoos.co.uk/  for example.

I used a nice pirate tattoo transfer on a Beriev flying boat some years ago and it's still looking good. I think I varnished it which helped.
