Well, there was a Triumph Spitfire if you can find a kit of it....  I know someone does a 1/32 scale slot car which could be easily made into a static kit.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Thread revival - how about a B-52 and Tu-95 swapping colours/decals etc?

To truly confound folks put the Tu-95 in NASA markings, to whit those of Balls 8.  ;D

GTX

That works - another would be a Tu-95 in USAF test markings.  Maybe start the rumour that the USA somehow did gain possession of a Tu-95 and was secretly testing it just as they did with the MiGs etc ;D.

Hmmm interesting thread....

Motorbikes have used a number of aircraft names (I'm not sure about kit availability though):

Suzuki Hayabusa (Tamiya kit available) in green-squiggles-over-grey cammo, and a Ki.43 (?) in metallic brown or purple/silver

Vetter Triumph Hurricane or Honda CBX750 Hurricane in RAF cammo and a Hawker Hurricane in orange with a yellow stripe

Triumph Tiger (didn't Airfix do a kit?) in Aggressor markings of choice and an F-5E in maroon with chrome panels, or pastel blue/cream

Yamaha Fazer in white with NCC-1702 stencilling and a USS Enterprise in metallic yellow with black stripes

Norton Commando (Airfix?) in olive drab and a Sea King transport in black with gold pin-striping

Benelli Tornado in Italian AF cammo and a Panavia GR.1 in metallic green & silver

Velocette Venom (Airfix?) in NEAF cammo and a De Havilland Venom in black with gold pin-striping

Kawasaki VN1500 Vulcan in anti-flash white and an Avro Vulcan in metallic green/black/chrome

Suzuki Marauder in USAAF olive drab and a Martin Marauder in metallic red/blue

Moto Guzzi V10 Centauro (Tamiya) in Italian/Spanish Army Cammo, and a FIAT Centauro 8x8 tank destroyer in red/silver
