I was wondering if any one made replacement tank tracks in 1/ 72nd scale, as I have a some kits that have plastic moulded tracks with the singular ones that never ever fit properly, and I hate the flaming things :banghead:
I have swapped some for some left over rubber tracks but I want to replace the tracks on the ACE armour kits I have as the tracks are horrendous.
Any ideas or pointers much appreciated.

Several companies make replacements in photo etch and resin.  Know Eduard has done some but not sure which vehicles.

Go here and scroll down to Vehicle Detail and Accessory Sets.  Click on a few and you should find several.

Thanks for the link Philip, I really want some rubberised ones as I can't get on with resin stuff either,I have a resin BMP-1 sat derelict because my skills of using resin shattered the tracks, plus they look too stiff and un realistic. I have used the rubber ones to good success as I can put sag into them and make them fit the drive wheels better.Plus my club fingers can keep hold of them!!
cheers,

Same problem here, which is why i dont buy 1/35 Italeri tracked kits anymore (ya reading this italeri?).

I suggest buying 1/35 vehicles from Tamiya, they come with rubber tracks. Apart from that, post in the swap section. I had a member that sent me a pair of Tiger tracks for an Italeri Bergenpanzer Tiger

 Interesting. I rather like individual or link and length tracks. I actually try to avoid rubber tracks, if possible.

Academy, AFV Club, Trumpeter and Hobby Boss all offer separate 1/35 individual link and rubber tracks. Tamiya and Dragon did, too, IIRC. But I don't know about 1/72.

Replacement rubber tracks will be a little harder to come by as I don't think any of the aftermarket people are doing them.  Best way there is usually contact the manufacturer to see if you have any luck or the Swap shops.

Besides the one we have here, try over on www.armorama.com, www.track-link.net, or www.missing-lynx.com as they all have braille scale people.
