hi all, iv just recieved a note mentioning the upcoming release of correction sets for the current Airfix 1/48 scale TSR.2

first off is a tail fin with the missing ram intake on its leading edge along with revised tailplanes with correct shaped bulge and detailing

in the works (and the release im particularly interested in) is a complete forward fuselage to correct the grossly inaccurate Airfix one, im told this will be from the intakes forward (im not sure where exactly the break will be, but iv suggested including the intakes so as to rensure the taper at the forward edge of the intake lips is included!)

iv passed to the master maker copies of the drawings of the pylons used, as well as those of the underwing drop tanks (2 differing types) and refuelling probe fairing, so hopefully by Telford we shall see some updates on sale

ill keep the group posted as to release dates and further developments

cheers, Joe

Sounds good Joe.....just need a Stratos 4 mod kit and we are golden! ;D

Excellant to see people so pro-active on fixing stuff like this rather than just lamenting problems with the kit.

Cheers

Tony

Never heard of Odds and Ordnance before, who and where are they to be found please?

Sounds heavy!   Will a metal landing gear follow?

I'm sure I saw something of an announcement on Britmodeler, but I couldn't find it over there when I had a look, Kit.

From a recent response on here I think that the guy who runs Odds and Ordnance has been ill for some time.
