Following on from my original thread http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,23108.msg334107.html#msg334107 some more what if they had lo-vis in the 50's what-ifs.

Apologies for the photo's - new camera I'm afraid, double the pixels and 1/3rd the size from my old digital (that actually looked like a camera and not a mobile phone/card case).

Anyway combining my love of modern day Lo-vis Barley grey and Suez crisis aircraft the first offering is a DH Sea Venom complete with lo-vis  Suez stripes. Kit is the Frog Sea Venom in 1/72nd inspiration by Jameson's Irish Whiskey.

Offering number two ..... An Israeli Gloster Meteor NF13 from an old resin I had knocking around - to crude to be called a CMK issued kit - no instructions or anything else. Actually quite pleased in the way it went together. Again 1/72nd scale modern day camoflage, suez stripes (Israeli style) and lo-vis roundels of my own making (damn that Jameson's so nice yet so mind altering) !

And finally (for the moment, a couple of others almost ready to come off the production line).... What-if the RAF needed a trainer version of the F-86 Sabre ? For your scrutiny may I present the TF-86 Sabre two seat trainer (armed so I can sneek it into the GB).

Kit is the Heller F-86 with the Airmodel fueslage and canopy. Cockpit had to be scratchbuilt (I do it with balsa wood including the seats) and again the camera work actually lets the kit down.

Nice work Bungle!  I note there's not much clearance under the Sabre's droptanks!  :o

That's right .... fully laden ... takes a lot of dedication to fill 1/72 drop tanks with scaled down liquid (at least that's what I tell the wife the Jameson's is for.... hic!)

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Good stuff - the Venom particularly is very sharp.
