Before colonial fighter jocks got ever into a viper, they were trained  in the basics of flight on the venerable Asturcon trainer. Though they design dated back from the colonial civil war over 120 years ago, it has proven itself an excellent aircraft to"break in" nuggets to the basics of aircraft handling.

I bought an a prepainted P-51B model back in about the fourth grade that hung in disrepair  from my ceiling for years. I finally took it down last week to use for "whiffing" fodder. THe model itself is about 70% complete. I can't get back to work on for a while due to an injury yesterday. Anyway, here's a preview:
