Nobody?!? I have the F-29, an F-20, and a Sea Flanker ready for repaint to AC specs. Still deciding on a scheme based on whether I can get decals or if I have to paint the markings.

I've been Planning to do My own Air Force because i was Inspired by Ace Combat!!!!! Got a Name for my Fictional Country but...........Still working on the Markings before i do Anything else!!!!!!!

Well, I showed the Ki-61 I did in Rot colours, and I have a MiG-31 Schwarze that's kinda being done "when I feel like it" and as I do. My plans for a YF-23 got shot to hell when Dragon discontinued their 1/72 YF-23 *shakefist* but I'll figure out how to do THAT eventually.

Ironically, most of the Ace Combat schemes outside of the Special schemes, are often Real World patterns if you look close enough. Granted the Razgriz schemes in AC5 basically show how sexy Vandy-1 can look on Anything in some cases (most of them are an even black, there's a few black on schwarzgrau camo patterns If I recall).

Hasegawa 1/72 X-29 with a few modifications such as nose mounted guns and pylons.

Scheme from AC6, Belkan ace "Bauer".

Italeri 1/72 Sea Flanker modified to better resemble an Su-37 from AC6. The pylons were relocated so there's nothing on the fuselage and 3 under each wing (for the XLAAs). I've seen a lot of fuss over the canard situation on the Italeri kit. A little cutting and filler solved that and that's all there was to it. It was a fun build I thought but with a VERY labor intensive paint scheme. I still need to spray the underside gray and do some touchups on top. I'm happy with it! And by the way, here's the interesting mix of colors: Russian Topside Gray, SAC Bomber Tan, Faded Olive Drab, RLM 61. All from the ModelMaster range.

AC6, Belkan aces "Gelb 1 & 2".

Now I need to figure out a good way to do the markings.

Indeed, Gelb's scheme is quite an intricate pattern, and you pulled it off quite nicely all together. Italeri should have their knuckles rapped for the canard mixup and the problem with the proper canard shoulders not being intact.

I might suggest, to do the markings, take the Mexican triangle, scan it into a digital file, and redo it for the Belkan colours on some decal paper perhaps? I noticed by chance that the Mexicans use a triangle marking, which I found interesting.
