That white job is interesting.
Sort of a cross between a Nimrod and a Typhoon - with a very Gerry Anderson-like number of engines!
Mac, are you sure you didn't have a hand in the design?  ;)

No not guilty.
Sweden was interested in the AWACS, spin top but it didn't make it pass the concept stage. The closest thing was the flying prototype that the Indian Air Force flew, this never made it into service either.
There was the AST.400 which was fitted with the FASS AEW radomes similar to those of the BAe Nimrod AEW.3 either with turboprops or twin turbofans. Something that the Admiralty was considering for their new carriers back in the  1960's.

Genuine project.  IIRC Thorvic scratchbodged one a few years back.

Avro 721: mid 1950s study for a low-altitude bomber in response to a pretty open brief (fishing exercise to see what was possible, basically) from the RAF. This was the first attempt at meeting the same kind of requirement that eventually led to TSR.2. All the submissions were pretty radical. The conclusion of the exercise was that such a thing was beyond the state of the art at the time.

I'm thinking civilian Breguet Br.1150 Atlantic, either cargo or passenger airliner, the Mach2 kits are now available on eBay around the £52-53 price range. It would be great to buy one and compare it with the 3D printed  kit that I have from the bloke in Japan. If not then the Mach2 Atlantic would make a kitbash in swapping over parts.

Definitely up for the 748. Belgian Air Force version looks good. I'd have preferred an Andover but, perhaps Didier might be persuaded......! For all the negative comments Mach  2 attracts, the company must be doing something right. Long may it continue. ;)
