Grumman Gander

Last Friday was our local San Diego IPMS meeting and quarterly contest. All models were lumped into one category for judging and prizes. I entered the Gander and captured third. First place was a knock-out diorama with multiple models and extremely well done, but I think the second place winner was "inferior" to mine. Nevertheless, I am happy with a small "trophy", and I really don't model for competitions, anyway. I am known well enough in the club there that the locals like my whif work, but I got fewer comments on this one than on ANY others I have brought in. Hmmm!? Slow night, maybe.

Anyway, as I close the book on the Gander, thanks for the comments and encouragement, all at What-if Modeling!
