Implausible Thunderstreak

Well, here's my latest finished project.  I originally was going to do this OOB in that nice looking european NATO scheme, but it kicked my butt.  So I kicked it's butt right back.

The cockpit really threw me for a loop.  I just couldn't make it work.  Hence the awful painting of the canopy.  But really, the Thunderstreak's inherent sexiness really overcomes those problems, I think.  It's a really great looking cold war bird.

Never mind that the weapons/fuel carriage would render the control surfaces completely inoperable.  Control surfaces are for sissies in clean flight suits driving Vipers or Eagles.  A proper, manly cold war pilot scoffs at these luxuries.

For a rather odd set of camo colors, that turned out surprisingly well.  Good one.
