QuoteBarry, how did you do the concrete runway?
FRACK!

I just spent 15 minutes typing out a detailed answer to this, forgetting that my #@&*% Zone Alarm would see said time as "inactivity" and cut me off, losing all that work in the process!     Should have typed in Word and cut/paste to here afterwards.

Nev, I owe SuperTom (and Ollie) a complete "how-to" on my hangar/runway method.  I'll try to hammer out a proper article, c/w in-progress photos, later this week.

Right now, I'm off to put some landing gear on a rather stubborn little F-16T!!!
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Radish

Not sure how Barry does his runways, but I've found that flexible floor tiles, with the top "scored" with a scriber of your choice....always draw in pencil first though, and then sprayed either in primer, or brush painted with a thick household brush and emulsion of your choice.....a sampler pot lasts ages. Water colour wash in the scribed lines, other bits painted on, and a few oil leaks in gloss brown/black.
Quick, easy, cheap, effective and light.
