I know its to late for the group build but here is Reginald Joseph Mitchell's last desgin finished the day before he died 11 June 1937
This aircraft named willie-willie was lost after a sucsesfull attack on the greman troopship/cruse liner Leipzig in the baltic sea 50 miles north of Kiel on the 21 october 1939. the piolt made a sucsesful passage back to britain.

...an OOB Seiran to me? Did Britain have any inverted-Vee engines to use in such a plane?
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

it was fitted with a copy of a Daimler-Benz engine made by bristol for this project due to the shortage of the merlin. A supply of spare parts for the engines were not required as the operation live of this class of aircraft was measured in hours. ( The air ministry expected them to be operational for 24 hours were they actually lasted for 18 days)
