Just finished up this project this morning and am very glad to be done with it.

My next what-if will be a Ta 283, I am building two Fw 190s for my entry in a G.B. first and after those are finished I will get to the Ta 283.

On to the pics....

JimB,
This first picture may be what you have asked for...nothing but the backdrop. I hope you find it useful.

The backdrop in use with some older models, a 1/72 scale Me 410 in the first three pics and in the last pic a 1/32 scale Fw 190A-9.

Thank you Matrix, spot on.
Now I can have a good backdrop to use for my photos, as I can copy and print nice and big.

You do not fancy doing one with airfield type buildings way in the distance do you?

Sorry, coat, hat gone.

Seriously thanks a million for that, I could not paint anything like that if I tried.

Alle kunst ist umsunst wenn ein engel auf das zundloch brunzt!!

Sic biscuitus disintegratum!

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

Absolutely brilliant!  The pics look very realistic!  Especially the last and the black and white one.
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Thank you JimB and ChernayaAkula!

JimB,
I had planned to have some hangers and other buildings included in this backdrop but I decided against it because it would have taken up so much extra time to do plus the fact that I have zero experience in painting buildings possibly putting all the work invested in this project in jeopardy of failure.

Next years backdrop might be the one where I put in the hangers and control tower...its way too early to tell.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks NARSES2!

This backdrop is better quality than the one I did last year. The old one was painted in about five hours time and I did not like the results of that one very much, some things just take a little longer to do if you want good results. -_- My new backdrop took about 16 hours worth of work, including mixing my paint colors. The clouds alone were painted in six different colors ranging from white to medium gray. The mountains were painted in at least 10 different shades of gray even though you can barely see it in the finished painting.
