I'm not sure that Penguin is an appropriate name.  With that schnozz it's got a definite Puffin cast to it.  I like that.

That's one impressive kitbash, Mass and a heck of an introduction to Whiff-World too! You show some very impressive skill and I look forward to seeing your model emerge from the paint shed!

Thanks for the encouragement, I'm hoping to keep plugging away steadily at this one.

Jschmus, I know what you mean about the name, someone suggested I call it the Charles Asnavor because they both have a huge schnoz.

Pyro, I'm still tossing up on the colours. I originally planned an all black night fighter (with off white details, hence the "Penguin" name), but the more I've thought about it I'm leaning towards an RN Blue topside and white underside scheme, perhaps with Suez stripes. On the other hand, the extra dark sea grey looks good too . . .

How about EDSG over Sky, with SEAC markings? That would be an interesting combo. :)

Hey...now I get it !

What an awesome looking beast....just love it ! I have to agree, the final colour scheme will be a tought choice. I think more colour would work. Mayeb the two-gray scheme with Suez stripes ?

Thanks for the T-Tail alert, Tophe.

This has to be one of the most innovative, striking Whiffs I've ever seen.  I'm sooooo jealous, but in a very good way.

Can't wait to see this one completed.  It's pure Whiff Magic!
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

It certainly looks different and thats what I like!

Strange, weird, cool, delightfully different.  And for some strange reason, it LOOKS British!

The Penguin certainly has  "British" look to it.  And with that much wing area, it should be manuverable as hell.  And able to carry a hefty load out . . .

You should massage the back story to include a Cyrano radar in there and have it based on the Channel Islands.....

Fascinating build.....
