I have a 3-view of this aircraft, but under designation "Caproni MC1". It was a fighter project. Interesting that it is from middle 1920s, thus it looks more recent. Unfortunately I don't know was it built or not (I think not).

It is surely a fighter; look at the wings - they are very large for a racer.

I suppose even my own comment would back that up re those MG ports?
