Mil Helicopters H-69 Halo (Mi-26 WHIF)

Thanks to you all for the excellent welcome on the H-45/Mi-6 thread! I'm so glad that you appreciate my work, and to show you my gratitude, allow me to treat this forum with a fake I did especially for you all: a U.S. Coast Guard Mil Mi-26 "Halo"!

This one carries the H-69 designation, which is said in official documents to have been skipped because the number is evocative of sexual practices... (did you buy that story? well I DIDN'T...) Anyway, I've used it and here's the CH-69A Halo (great name for a... helo...). Hope you'll enjoy looking at it as much as I did doing it!

I'll be doing more Halo stuff soon, because I really enjoyed working on this one!

Good work...like the look of that... ..although thats an awful lot of dayglo orange....could be very bright on the ground in the sun,I think sunglasses would be general issue for crew/ground crew....

I'll def be doing that...comment was tongue in cheek.....at work at the moment n got a draconian web marshall...can't view a lot of the pics on the site until I gat home...or use my iphone but the screen size don't do the huge amount of effort put into the builds any justice.
