if i rob a kit, i like to tape a post it note to the end of the kit just to remind me that
the kit has been raided. anyone else do that?

I write the word "SCAVENGED" in big bold black letters so I know not to expect a complete kit inside.
My wife knows that when I leave this little burg you folks call "Earth," those kits won't be worth selling on ebay.

I buy multiples of most kits, knowing full well that I will likely scavenge all but one of each subject for Whiffery.  That's my reasoning, anyhow...

Not 'til yesterday when I realised I'm not gonna have a single "stock" A-1 Skyraider left thanks to my latest ideas!

I rob all the time and have never felt guilty.  Kits are meant to be built and there is only one group of people would will feel guilty.  They are called collectors and we needn't trouble ourselves with them.

I have no problem robbing other kits for a project, I'll even buy a kit just so I can rob some stuff.  Of course now that I can just go out and buy a kit makes it that much easier, I don't think I would have done it years ago when my pocket money was dependant on whether I had been good or not that week (in my Mom's view that is)  ---  ;D ;D

I'm not a great parts robber but I've been known to buy cheaper kits for the transfer sheet
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
