I have just finished the missile system for this tub, as usual it is made up of bits from the spares box. As the missiles will have a dual use, I have loosely based them on the Starstreak system, and incorporated an all weather sighting and targeting system. This also can be used in conjunction with the gun, which is positioned directly infront on the lower deck. The sight is made from a spare piece of equipment I got from Old Crow, the missiles are Russian anti tank missiles off a KA-52, the rack is a modified bomb rack from an Airfix Sunderland, the base is a Radial engine from something  :-\ and there is some bits of sprue and tube in there somewhere too.
I have got as far as putting the next deck on to the boat, and a few bits for the upper wheelhouse. I will also be putting some ladders up to the missile system, as there is no other direct access to it. The missile reloads will be kept on the upper deck in a storage box, and these will be passed over the front of the wheelhouse by the crew.

Cheers,
Chris.

Some great stuff there.....certainly some ideas for my heli support boat.....I had seen a picture of a seated gunner with a tube on either side and a central sight.....I got plenty of missile tubes over from my Ka52 build.....

Not done a great deal with this as the parts have all needed a lot of cleaning up, for a Revell kit it is pretty disappointing quality wise. I have just put together the mast and the kit radar, I will put an extra radar bulb on it also, this will be to detect airborne threats. I have been looking through my spare guns also and I am pretty sparse on the .50 cals, so I might just put some miniguns and GPMG's in the equation instead.
Another thing that has been getting in the way of this build is my U.S Marine corps Mk III Skyhawk build

Interesting work so far, looking to see what you finish it out like.
