Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks NARSES2 and Bernie!

Bernie,
The P-40 is of course a what-if, I wanted to have it in these set of pics because a few of the Zircus Rosarius aircraft actually were recovered after the war ended, I remember seeing photograph's of a Mustang and a P-47 used by the Zircus recovered. Also in the second volume of Jerry Crandall's Dora book there are photograph's of a Spitfire at Bad Worishofen that was recaptured, the Spitfire was in markings of the Zirkus. The Spitfire was at an airfield that had a number of the rare Fw 190D-11's. :o

yes - while I love the P-40 in german colours, but none of my books indicated it existed.  I have 48 scale models of P51 (x2), MS 406, and Typhoon in german colours - and a Messer-spit.  And a Hurricane in Finnish colours - i do like some allied aircraft but they gotta have those crosses on them.  I also have a 48 scale Lancaster in captured colours but the undercart took a hammering in one of the moves - but it is bit of an assault on the eyes - green RLM 82 on top and trainer yellow in the underside - this was a really early model with no weathering - and it would be a beggar in the display cabinet - I should get back to it.

cheers

The only way I would build any models of Allied aircraft is if I put them in what-if Luftwaffe markings. But I have to admit someday I would like to make a real world Mustang with Zirkus Rosarius markings on it.
Another idea I have is building a Ta 183 and put it in normal Luftwaffe camouflage colors and using Russian markings over painted out German markings...and then aging my pics to use as ''proof'' the Mig 15 came from the design of the Germans afterall. That would go over well at a certain other modeling site.

WOW, thanks for the comments Army of One!

Thanks for looking at my work, the more than kind comments from everybody here help boost my spirits at a time when things are not going very well in my life.

Next week I might take new pics of some of my other models for this theme...including my Ju 500 Amerika bomber.

Fantastic pictures! they have an air of reality about them, you've really gotten down the colour and layout that matches the timeframe.

Thanks Alvis!
Taking pics of my models has evolved into a hobby of its own and is really a lot of fun to do. The only hard part is thinking of new ideas for my future pics to be interesting to the viewer, I am building a new photobase now that might help my pics look a little better but the project has been put on hold until I find a new job so I can afford to finish it.
