OK, for all those even remotely near Detroit, MI, the bi-annual Selfridge Air Show is back this year.  On the agenda (from as many unofficial sources as I can find):

- USAF Thunderbirds
- USAF F-22 on static display
- USN F/A-18E/F on static display
- USAF A-10A on static display and flying
- USCG MH-65C on static display
- USAF KC-135R on static display and flying
- USAF F-16C on static display and flying
- USAF B-52 (somewhere around the base)
- Civvie F-104
- Civvie Migs
- Civvie other older US fighters
- a... pink... 757 (breast cancer awareness apparently)
- various DHS airplanes now stationed at Selfridge
- Misc USAF/USN planes
- USAF B-1B flyover (possible static display)
- US Government $1 Billion dollar flyby (B-2A)

Not sure when I'm going (probably Saturday, maybe both days if duly impressed).  I needs to see me an F-22 in person!!!!  Too bad there won't be a V-22...

Captain Canada

I noticed the 104s were dropped from that page. And why aren't both the F-22 and the Osprey flying ?

We might make it down, goit stuff going both days, tho......

!*&^!&%%$!!!!!

No 104's, no Osprey, no F-22!!!!!  No F-15's, no C-17's, no C-5's, no static display B-1...

If it weren't for the T-birds (which did an abbreviated, and low-level show due to cloud cover) it wasn't much of a show.  The Rhino's were behind ropes and no one could get anywhere close to them!  And only two of the base's A-10's were on display and none flew!

Was surprised to see a bunch of MRAPs there and the prototypes for all three JLTV contenders.  Got pics of them all.  Will post them later when I get them off my camera, as well as some low quality movies from the show.
