......of unfinished kits.  I had this 98% done since the spring and I finally got tired of looking at its box.  Hobbycraft CF-105 in 1/72.  No cockpit details, just blacked out the canopies.  Decals are a mix of kit, Hasey F-106 and Superscale F-15.  Paint is MM ADC mostly.  IR seeker is a pinhead painted up and slightly recessed in the nose.

That's way more of a shoulda than a what-if !

The IR seeker is a nice touch as well, as is the subtle weathering of the gear and wheels. Now, let's see some more of your backlog clear !

I remember visiting McChord AFB back in about 87 or so and watching the F-15s do touch and gos.

The McChord museum wasn't too far from the runways, so we could browse the museum exhibits and watch the F-15s pretty much at the same time.
