Hay all
i have been trying to figure out how to make barracuda camo for some time now and think i have a workable idea so i thought i would share it with you. here is a step by step guide to my method please let me know your feed back so i can improve on this technique.

The materials i used are tracing paper for the top layer of the camo and masking tape for the mats underneath.

STEP ONE.
I made a tool to make the cuts in the traceing paper i used a old chuck from a rotary drill as it had a hole thew the centre.

The tool has semi circle cut out of it with a sharpened edge it measures 2mm across by 1.5mm deep.
STEP TWO
Next trace the area of the vehicle you are going to cover with the cam like so.

STEP THREE.
next cut the semi circles in to the tracing paper using an alternating pattern

STEP FOUR
You should end up with something like this? be patient as this can take some time.

STEP FIVE
Glue the net on to the masking tape i used white PVA glue for this.

make sure you lift all the cut out semi circles up from the glue at this stage or you wont be able to when the glue dry's...

STEP SIX.
Next cut the sorunding tape off to leave the shape of the net.

Last step..
And finally stick it to the model using the sticky side of the tape and paint with the desired color.

And that's it i would like to hear what you all think and hope this is usefull to you all. &:)
