I was rooting around in the garage and noticed that some of the boxes I have sealed in two layers of black bin liners looked a bit sad. I opened the two boxes and all are soaked. There are another ten boxes that are fine. One box contain miscellaneous (damn, had to use the spellchecker for that word) airfix kits, which I will now put on thepending pile. The other was a box of Big Kits:

AMT B70
Airfix 1/24 scale Hurricane (two of them)
Airfix 1/72 E3

The plastic is fine, but the boxes/decals/instructions are all looking pretty sorry. I have left them to dry naturally so as not to damage anything more but I must address my storage policy! Or, is it my building policy?

If this is Upper Silesia, one can only wonder what Lower Silesia is like.

Sorry to hear about your lose, I keep a lot of my unbuilt kits in the loft but keep the decals/transfers stored downstair's in old shoe boxes where the temp change isn't to great.

 ........................BUGGER!!!!
I have lost a few boxes and decals because of part of my shed leaking, lost lots of decals, even though they were in plastic storage containers with lids.
Now all my kits are in my Mezzanine loft space, in our bed room, so I see them whilst led in bed...which is nice

At least the plastic is still good  You won't need the OOB decals for the Zimbabwean E-3 anyway
