don't know if this is the right place for this but tommorrow (26/10/09) the AN-225 will be taking off from East Midlands Airport at 11 am-ish so anyone interested should bring a camera!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Some guys are lucky! Saw that beast in 1989 at Le Bourget and I'm still waiting to see something that beats it... (might have to wait for a LOOONG time...). Can't wait to see the pics, guys!

just got back from east-mids and theres one word that sums up me at the moment............ disappointed- the AN-225 didn't take off apparently it dosen't have a job and has no-where to fly they said it will be there for quite some hours so reluctantly i returned home. the airport said it was a 'sudden' cancellation and that they told the aeropark staff as soon as they knew also the aeropark is open all week as its half-term.

no i live in chesterfield so not too far away....... not far enough to keep me away from that thing
