Did they really  build a 2-seater F-20 or is it a 'Whiff in a Box'?

AIUI, it's the latter!

a) I love it.
b) it's the wrong scale.
c) Kit, look at the bottom left hand corner of the pictures, it even tells you.
d) all I need now is to get a decent two-seat F-5 to cross-kit with my Hasegawa F-20. I suppose it should be an F-5H as the single seater was originally to have been the F-5G.

OK heresy time. I can just about understand how the single seater gets people worked up but I'm afraid that twin seater just looks wrong to me

You may be right Chris. Just something about it. But that may be as we're so used to seeing the single seater.

Yes, but your point b) applies.

My brain applies a filter as soon as I see any scale larger than 1/72 so I can't read that bit......
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Do we get royalties from the use of "WHIF"?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

OK being thick, does the N suffix have any significance ? Naval 2 seater ? I can't see a hook but then a lot of land based aircraft have hooks

Ah but the crafty so and so's have used WHIF instead of our more common WIF. Clever lawyers  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The N suffix is used by the US Navy Aggressors (F-16N and F-5N) so I'm expecting this 2-seater F-20 kit to have various aggressor schemes on the decal sheet. If I were the company owner I'd market it as an F-20B/N with something like a Canadian, Israeli or Kenyan one rather than just the Navy ones.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
