Nice.  The hatch looks a little small compared to the man or the man is a little large compared to the hatch. I think the MG would get in the way of closing it.   Apart from that, quite well executed.  I'm glad some people are being inspired by my little story.

The hatch is actually a LAV hatch from the Italeri LAV series and the dude is wearing a camo smock, makes him chunky.
The MG was a late addition I don't really like now either, it didn't come off right because of the reasons you outlined above.. it gets in the way.

Thanks for all the great feedback guys..

Next project  ;D

I think you need to put the MG on a mounting, just in front of the hatch.  Alternatively, you could put your MG on a slide rail mounting as was used on the late-war Panzers:

They didn't though, have shields.

Just excellent!  This looks very believable. Like something that really was.

You could fool some JMNs no doubt. I can't believe how fast you built this, what a finish too

Although it does "Look right" as WWII Whermacht piece, it does also  have a bit of a circa 1960-70s South African militaryor SA Paramilitary Police Force feel about it ?

Hello!

Nice work mate! Love the shape of the vehicle, only the drivers part looks a little simple to me. You may add a towing cable, some other tools, or something else on the front, btw it's a very cool looking model :) CGrat!

Just goes to show you, there is nothing really new under the sun.  :)

had a double take myself when I saw that.. quite correct..nothing new under the sun.
Great minds and all.... probably also shows that possibly the ongoing development of the 234 series, an APC was a logical step.

Love it - it looks like a racing APC.....

Agreed, has a Mad Max III feel to it !

So, B, this is another place I can annoy you!

Excellent build, now why didn't you bring that over for the SAPMA expo?
