The game is called Pathfinder, but really, it's Dungeons and Dragons.  It boasts those old familiar values of going to strange lands, meeting new and interesting people, then killing them and looting their stuff.  ;)

This became a pretty big distraction as we're having a hoot of a time playing right now.  As the DM, I had to get some minis ready (of course) and I even painted one of the PC's for a friend.  Most of these were finished in October, but my lazy @$$ never got around to posting the pics until recently.  Sorry for the flash washout on the more recent pics, but I wanted to show y'all I hadn't just painted like 2 minis in all of September/October.  ;)

The Half-orc barbarian Kronk.

Next, his nemesis, the Owlbear.  Older and newer pics, sorry for the flash.

The Swamp Dragon, Hill Giant, and a random Bear!  Oh my!!

And the one Whif of the group, the SUPER-DUPER OWLBEAR!!!  This was really in the module to boot!!  Yeah, it's goofy, but it's also huge, and it was fun to hack up an owl and a bear, and make that thing.

That Owl Bear made me smile  ;D

Have you seen this titbit from the RS ? Could be an ancestor of that owl

Okay, kicking the dust off, and to prove I actually have been doing SOMETHING...

I painted a dwarf!

This is my Stonelord Paladin, Kazmuk, Dumathoin Deephollow.  I'm playing him in a friend's Pathfinder game, and he's been a ton of fun.  We're in an area where winter is coming on, so I pulled out some old snow and threw it on top of the crushed gravel for grins.  I like how he turned out.  I think he says "Good guy in armor" without being the totally angelic looking gleaming silver and gold armor.

Stunning. What scale/size is that dwarf please ?

Thanks!  He's a 28mm Reaper mini, so I think he's actually about 24mm tall to the eyes.  You can find him here: http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/dwarf%20sergeant/sku-down/14173

I participated in the Reaper Kickstarter, so sometime early next year I'm going to be buried under roughly 300 minis!  Hopefully they'll go quicker than my more recent efforts...

Well, the Dwarf snagged me a Bronze at Maraudercon in the Unmounted Figure, any scale category.  I was pretty surprised actually.  Happy, but surprised.
