No, not the model company, the Whiffie Academy.

We are looking to expand our staff (ok, I don't have the time to do it alone) so if you are interested, please post here (so everyone can see who I sucker, er, accept into this glorious position) or PM me if you want to remain anonymous.

So far we have Tojo633 once again doing the Trophies (ok, certificates) and PW mentioned some where that he would help.  If we could get one to two more volunteers, that would be great.

Duties are simple:
1) Finalize the Categories
2) Sort the "Sway" thread into nominations for each category
3) Quickly add stuff to the "Sway" thread so that there are enough entries per category  :banghead:
4) Create the Nomination Polls for all categories with more than 5 entries
5) Start the polls on January 1st
6) There is no rule 6 (wait, I didn't think these were rules.  Shh, don't rock the boat)
7) Create new polls with the top 5 vote getters in each Category to go for the Whiffie
8) 8 ) (did you know and 8 besides a parenthesis makes this emoticon?) Decide which night we will hold the Awards Ceremony.  Either move it back to March to run opposite the Oscars again or pick a date in February.
9) Create the Awards Ceremony including writing the Whiffie Jokes so the Mini-Master of Ceremonies sounds humorous and intellectual (a hard task at any time)
10) Round up enough well endowed, er, well dressed Presenters to add that touch of elegance we so lacked last year

See, I told you there was nothing to it.

Re rule ten; I had an odd thought about that some weeks back. Possibly we could have a sort of GB thing as part of the Whiffies for 'Best Couple'; where we submit photoshopped images of ourselves accompanying curvaceous starlets (or rippling-ab'ed hunks if that's what you want) to the awards ceremony...
Of course those who do not have teh leet phoggoshop skills (he said, lapsing into leet speak) could submite drawings, paintings and other such illustrations.
I'm happy to be the man-who-is-in-charge-of-that-bit.
There are no good kits, bad kits or grail kits, just kitbash fodder.

I was thinking more of finding images on the web of said starlets and working them into the presentation thread but I do like your idea.
The only issue I see is that if you look at the thread we have where we show ourselves, we are not the most photogenic group out there.

However, if you want to give this a shot, go for it.
