And I like the finish. Natural metal is difficult to do well, yours looks really good.

Yes Hobbes, thanks. It´s a real "projekt". I send you a picture of a page of a book dedicated to the history of the Me 262.

The place mentioned is real too. The factory of DFS (Siebel) was located in Halle (old East Germany), and was moved to Podberesje (USSR) on autum of 1946.

Hi to all.

The original kit is the model on resin of Me P 65 of Unicraft, modified with other kit of Me 262 of the same manufacturer, and several pieces of resin on scratch.

Looks very much like a sleeker 262 - I have to admit I like it, though I'm left to wonder how that would have had an effect on pilot survival odds in light of the jet engines loving to burn up if handled wrong.  Without that catch, probably would have been a beautiful piece of machinery.
